Cassis sangria
Summer pitcher cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 (750 milliliter) bottle of dry sparkling rosé (chilled)
- 0.5 to 0.75 cup Cassis (to taste)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons simple syrup (to taste)
- 1 cup (most of a can) of club soda or seltzer
- 2 cups frozen mixed berries, straight from the freezer
Notes
I prefer the larger quantity of Cassis and tend to omit the simple syrup - but it really depends on the wine and how dry it is.
