Monster cookies
Shelf-stable cookies for feeding the entire scouting troop for a whole trip. It’s chocolate, peanut butter, and oatmeal measured by the pound.
Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 cups brown sugar
- 12 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup or honey
- 8 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 pounds peanut butter
- 18 cups rolled oats
- 1 pound chocolate chips (3 cups)
- 1 pound M&Ms® plain chocolate candy (3 cups)
Directions
- In large bowl combine all ingredients, mix until well blended.
- Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350°F. for 12 minutes (or so).
