Granola

It’s the laziest granola mixes ever. Throw it all in the slow cooker, stir, cook on low for a few hours, and cool to eat. Leave the lid cracked!

Orange, honey, and almond

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup almonds, roughly chopped
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest from about 1 large orange
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 tablespoons orange blossom honey
  • 1.5 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1.5 teaspoon orange extract

Maple pecan

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup pecan (or walnut) pieces, roughly chopped
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, browned
  • Splash of bourbon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Cinnamon raisin

  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1.5 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup raisins
