Banana bread
Everyone’s favorite way to use up brown bananas 🍌
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup white whole wheat flour
- 0.67 cup sugar
- 0.5 cup rolled oats
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 overripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 0.33 cup whole buttermilk
- 0.25 cup vegetable oil
- 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
- Put all ingredients in mixing bowl, stir with stand mixer until smooth.
- Pour batter in loaf pan - should be about half-ish full.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before cutting.
Notes
- Frozen bananas are fine, but bring to room temperature first.
