Pumpkin pie

The mandatory Thanksgiving pumpkin pie 🥧

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree (not the pie mix)
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.75 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp ground cloves
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Directions

  1. Mix together until smooth.
  2. Pour into pie shell.
  3. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°F and bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Cool on a rack, serve warm or cool.
